Malachi Morris

Artist / Musician / Dj / Podcaster / Producer

WELCOME

I’m Malachi, an artist, musician , dj , podcaster, and producer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I perform with cover bands as well , but I love to create my own music and get lost in the process of piecing it all together. I like to go out and perform for festivals, church events, and private parties because of my profound passion for music.

I am an artist, musician, dj, podcaster, and producer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Early in my musical career, I played for The United Voices of God and my home church Union Street. This is where I learned how to play by ear and improve my tone quality as a musician. I also played for Ole Skool Band where we focused primarily on R&B and Pop music. We performed at the Pavilion in downtown Danville, block parties, and small bars. It was through this band I met a local guy that was the leader of The Fabulous Drifters. With his band I got to travel outside the city and play in remote locations such as the Gentlemen’s Golf Club in Danville and a private venues in the mountains.

Once I moved to North Carolina , I met another leader that traveled back and forth from North Carolina to South Carolina. The name of this band is Al G and Friends; together we performed cover music at Greg Norman Australian Grille and Bar for New Years 2020 in Myrtle Beach South Carolina, and at a local bar called Castaways in Georgetown, South Carolina. Needless to say I’ve performed in various cities with multiple bands over a period of 10 years. While working with the band Al G and Friends, I stumbled into the digital radio station scene with Charlotte, North Carolina WDRBMedia where I hosted and produced my very own successful radio show for over a year. With them I learned how to record, mix and master my show which eventually led me into the position of an off-site production engineer. I was responsible for producing the music shows for other radio host and some talk shows as well. I’m always striving to better myself because I don’t want to get complacent. I left radio after a year and decided to start a podcast called ADHD to Life. Tune in every week for a new episode where I tackle my personal life with ADHD, challenges facing the community, and what it’s like to be an artist , musician, and producer. I believe we have to cultivate our own success and speak it into exist if we wish to succeed in this life. I’ve recorded and produced over 30 episodes for the podcast.

I also believe it allows me to have a personal connection with my fans and family. Somewhere along the way I got into DJ gigs for friends and family. What can I say .. I think I have a niche for the entertainment business.
